Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Conclusions:
The substance is susceptible to hydrolysis under environmental conditions (pH 4 -9). Hydrolysis is more rapid in neutral and acidic conditions
Executive summary:

A GLP study was conducted in accordance with OECD test guideline 111 using non-radiolabelled test material. The definitive test was conducted at 15, 50 and 70 °C at pH values of 4, 7 and 9. The hydrolysis of the substance was pH dependent. At pH 4 and pH 9 a first order reaction was found; the reaction at pH 7 was second order. The hydrolysis reaction was much more related to the pH than to the temperature.

Description of key information

The substance is susceptible to hydrolysis under environmental conditions (pH 4 -9). Hydrolysis is more rapid in neutral and acidic conditions.

Key value for chemical safety assessment
