First-aid measures

- General information:

Consult a physician. Show this safety data sheet to the doctor in attendance. Ensure that medical personnel are aware of the material(s) involved, and take precautions to protect themselves.

- Inhalation:

If breathed in, move person into fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. For breathing difficulties, oxygen may be necessary. Call a physician if symptoms develop or persist. If not breathing, give artificial respiration.

- Skin contact:

Wash off with soap and plenty of water. Consult a physician. Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Get medical attention if irritation develops and persists. Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water for several minutes.

- Eye contact:

Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and consult a physician. Get medical attention if irritation develops and persists. Promptly wash eyes with plenty of water while lifting the eye lids.

- Ingestion:

Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Call a physician or poison control center immediately. If swallowed, rinse mouth with water (only if the person is conscious). Do not induce vomiting. If vomiting occurs, the head should be kept low so that stomach vomit doesn't enter the lungs.

- Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed: To the best of our knowledge, the chemical, physical, and toxicological properties have not been thoroughly investigated.

- Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed: Provide general supportive measures and treat symptomatically. Keep victim under observation. Symptoms may be delayed. Show this safety data sheet to the doctor in attendance.

Fire-fighting measures

- Suitable extinguishing media:

Use water spray, alcohol-resistant foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide.

- Unsuitable extinguishing media:

Do not use a solid water stream as it may scatter and spread fire.

- Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:

During fire, gases hazardous to health may be formed (Carbon oxides).

- Advice for fire fighter:

* Special protective equipment for firefighters: Firefighters must use standard protective equipment including flame retardant coat, helmet with face shield, gloves, rubber boots, and in enclosed spaces. Structural firefighters protective clothing will only provide limited protection. Wear self-contained breathing apparatus with a full facepiece operated in the positive pressure demand mode when fighting fires.

* Special fire fighting procedures: In case of fire and/or explosion do not breathe fumes. Use standard firefighting procedures and consider the hazards of other involved materials. Move containers from fire area if you can do so without risk. Water runoff can cause environmental damage. Ventilate closed spaces before entering them. Keep run-off water out of sewers and water sources. Dike for water control.

* Specific methods: Use standard firefighting procedures and consider the hazards of other involved materials.

Accidental release measures

- Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:

* For non-emergency personnel: Use personal protective equipment. Avoid breathing vapors, mist or gas. Ensure adequate ventilation. Evacuate personnel to safe areas. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothes. Remove contaminated clothing immediately. Evacuate people untrained and without the equipment that are not involved in resolving the situation.

* For emergency responders: Use proper protective equipment.

- Environmental precautions:

Do not discharge waste into drains / surface waters / groundwater in. Contact local authorities in case of spillage to drain/aquatic environment.

- Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Ensure adequate ventilation. Spilled liquid should be dammed and absorbed with inert absorbent material (non-flammable and non-combustible) as sand, earth, dolomite, clay ABSODAN, universal absorbent. Wash the infested area with plenty of free water to empty into drains or the environment. Dispose of as hazardous waste. Keep in suitable, closed containers for disposal. Collect contaminated material in a special container labeled "waste" that must be disposed of as waste according to 'Disposal considerations'.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling:

- Protective measures: Ensure good ventilation at work place by suction. Avoid breathing vapor or aerosol. Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. Close and open containers carefully and follow the rules of working with chemicals. Wash hands after handling the product. Do not handle or store near an open flame, heat or other sources of ignition. Take precautionary measures against static discharges.

- Advice on general occupational hygiene shall be provided: Do not eat, drink, or smoke in work area. Wash hands after using the substance. Change contaminated clothing before entering the dining area.

Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:

- Store in cool place. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Containers which are opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage.

Exposure controls / personal protection

EXPOSURE CONTROL

Appropriate engineering controls: Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Wash hands before breaks and at the end of workday.

Individual protection measures, such as personal protective equipment:

- General information: Use personal protective equipment as required. Personal protection equipment should be chosen according to the standards and in discussion with the supplier of the personal protective equipment. Always observe good personal hygiene measures, such as washing after handling the material and before eating, drinking, and/or smoking. Routinely wash work clothing and protective equipment to remove contaminants.

- Eye and face protection: Safety glasses with side-shields conforming to EN166. Use equipment for eye protection tested and approved under appropriate government standards such as NIOSH (US) or EN 166(EU).

- Skin protection: Handle with gloves. Gloves must be inspected prior to use. Use proper glove removal technique (without touching glove's outer surface) to avoid skin contact with this product. Dispose of contaminated gloves after use in accordance with applicable laws and good laboratory practices. Wash and dry hands. The selected protective gloves have to satisfy the specifications of EU Directive 89/686/EEC and the standard EN 374 derived from it.

- Respiratory protection: Where risk assessment shows air-purifying respirators are appropriate use a full-face respirator with multi-purpose combination (US) or type ABEK (EN 14387) respirator cartridges as a backup to engineering controls. If the respirator is the sole means of protection, use a full-face supplied air respirator. Use respirators and components tested and approved under appropriate government standards such as NIOSH (US) or CEN (EU).

- Thermal hazards: Wear appropriate thermal protective clothing, when necessary.

ENVIRONMENTAL EXPOSURE CONTROLS

Do not discharge substance in the waters drains / surface waters / in groundwater.

Stability and reactivity

- Reactivity: No dangerous reactions occur during handling and storage in accordance with instructions.

- Chemical stability: Stable in normal storage conditions.

- Possibility of hazardous reactions: Thermal decomposition temperature:> 300 °C. If the product is handled and stored in accordance with good industry practice, it is stable and no dangerous reactions occur.

- Conditions to avoid: Keep away from heat sources, open flame or spark.

- Incompatible materials: Strong oxidizing agents.

- Hazardous decomposition products: No hazardous decomposition products are obtained when the product is stored and handled as prescribed.

Disposal considerations

Waste treatment methods

Eliminating waste of product: in authorized collection points and / or burned in incinerators permitted under current legislation.

Contaminated packaging waste: storage will not be reused for other products.

Regulations regarding waste disposal: Law 211/2011 waste management. Directive 2008/98/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 19 November 2008 on waste and repealing certain Directives.
