Results and discussion

Any other information on results incl. tables

Endothermic reaction peak at ca 117°C absorbing about 80kJ/kg, followed by two exothermic reactions, with peaks at ca 184 & 253°C, releasing about 77 & 90kJ/kg.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
study cannot be used for classification
Conclusions:
Based on Regulation (EC) N°1272/2008 (CLP) and UN MTC Appendix 6 criteria, the test was not conducted up to 500°C, and the exothermal events were below the threshold of 500 J/g.
Therefore the result is inconclusive with regard to classification.
Executive summary:

The thermal stability of the test substance was tested with Differential Thermal Analysis, in accordance with conditions recommended in UN MTC screening procedure.

Two successive exotherms were recorded, up to the maximum test temperature of 300°C, but the energy released was weak, resp. about 77 and 90 J/g.
