Applicant's summary and conclusion

Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Interpretation of results:
not readily biodegradable
Conclusions:
All the validity criteria were successful except the toxicity control, furthermore, the variations between the test item replicates are not applicable due to low values.
According to he OECD guideline 301F, the test item (BCHD) is not considered to be biodegradable.
Executive summary:

This study was carried out in September 21, 2017. There was no deviation and no amendment to the study plan during this study.

The aim of this study was to determine the effects of the test item "BCHD” according to the OECD 301 F guideline, ready biodegradability within an experimental period of 28 days by respirometric method.

The amount of oxygen taken up by the microbial population during the biodegradation of the test item (corrected by blank inoculum, run in parallel) was determined from the change in pressure in apparatus and will be expressed as percentage of theoretical Oxygen Demand (ThOD).

Ready biodegradability of tie test item "BCHD” was performed according to the OECD 301 F guideline.

The degradation rate of the test item "BCHD” reached 0.45%, following ThODNH4, after 28 days of incubation. The 10-Day window failed.

According to the OECD guideline 301F, the test item is not considered to be biodegradable.
