Justification for classification or non-classification

As the in vitro HET-CAM test showed a strong response, the substance has to be classified as a severe eye irritant, i.e. R41 acc. to DSD and Cat.1 acc. to GHS.

Skin irritation/corrosion:

Excluding a false negative results, the substance is not skin corrosive, but has, due to the severe eye irritation potential, to be classified as skin irritant, i.e. as R38 acc. to DSD and Cat. 2 to GHS.
