Additional information

As key study a GLP-guideline study according to OECD 301B (BASF SE 22G0363/06G006, 2010) was conducted. The results on CO2 evolution after 28 d exposure reveal a 30% degradation, which result in a moderately biodegradability of the the substance 1H-Imidazolium, 1 -ethyl-3 -methyl-, acetate.

A supporting GLP-guidline study according to OCED 302B (BASF SE 10G0363/06X067) was conducted. The results on DOC removal after 28 d exposure was 1 % degradation, thus the substance is considered as not inherently biodegradable.
