Reference
Name:
Reaction mass of 2-ethylhexyl (6-isocyanatohexyl)-carbamate and bis(2-ethylhexyl) 1,6-hexan-1,6-diylbiscarbamate
Type of composition:
boundary composition of the substance
State / form:
liquid
Reference substance:
Reaction mass of 2-ethylhexyl (6-isocyanatohexyl)-carbamate and bis(2-ethylhexyl) 1,6-hexan-1,6-diylbiscarbamate
Reference substance:
Reaction mass of 2-ethylhexyl (6-isocyanatohexyl)-carbamate and bis(2-ethylhexyl) 1,6-hexan-1,6-diylbiscarbamate
PBT status:
the substance is not PBT / vPvB
Justification:

The substance is considered to be "not readily biodegradable" (Müller, 2001). It must therefore be regarded as potentially P or vP. The BCF value of the substance was determined to be 118 L/kg (Sadler, 2018). The substance is therefore neither B nor vB. Regarding the T criterion one chronic study with the freshwater algae Desmodesmus subspicatus is available (Weyers, 2006). The determined NOEC of 0.163 mg/L exceeded the threshold value for the T criterion of 0.01 mg/L. The substance is also not classified according to any criteria relevant for the T criterion and is therefore not T. As the substance is neither B or vB nor T, further testing with regard to the P criterion is not required and the substance can be considered as neither vP/vB nor PBT.
