Description of key information

The substance is a blue organic powder at 20 °C and 1013 hPa. No more information on its physico-chemical properties is available.

However data on an analogous substance (Similar Substance 01) has been taken into account for the assessment.

The Target Substance and the Similar Substance 01 are both mono-constituent substances that only differ in the type of salification, in the sense that the target Substance is partly acid form (sodium hydrogen) of the Similar Substance 01 (sodium salt).

Particle size distribution is expected to be in the “ non inhalable fraction” and the relative density in a range of 1 -2 at 20 °C. Considering the thermal behavior of the Similar Substance 01 the Target substance is expected to decompose before melting at and to have a negligible vapor pressure.

The substance is supposed to be soluble in water and to have a negative logPow.

The substance does not meet the criteria to be considered as autoflammable/flammable/explosive/oxidising.
