The density (ρ) of a substance is the quotient of its mass and its volume and is expressed in SI units of kg/m³.

The relative density is the ratio between the mass of a volume of substance to be examined, determined at 20°C and the mass of the same volume of water, determined at 4°C. The density of water at 4°C is 1.0000 g/cm3. The relative density has no dimension.

Measurements were in agreement with a standard deviation 0.001 g/cm³.

Two independent measurements were done (each in triplicate) resulting in a relative density of 1.378; 1.378; 1.378 and 1.381; 1.381; 1.380 at a temperature of 19.6 °C.

Conclusions:
The density of the test item TIC2782 (T002907) was determined to be 1.38 g/cm³ (= 1.38 x 10³ kg/m³) at 19.6°C ± 0.1°C using a gas comparison pycnometer.
The relative density of T002907 was determined to be 1.38.

A GLP study was performed according to OECD guideline 109 and EU Method A.3 without deviations (Weissenfeld M, 2006) . The density of T002907 was determined to be 1.38 g/cm^3 at 19.6°C.
