Description of key information

             

The cardanol 13.4130 and cardol 10.5 EO were tested to find how biodegradable they were and their biodegradation followed by DOC removal. They were found to be highly degradable, up to 80% DOC removal after 28 day. Weight of evidence for similar category of chemicals also shows these chemicals to be readily biodegradable.

Thus, it is expected that the chemical the Reaction mass of Cardanol diene and Cardanol monoene and Cardanol triene ( 13.4 EO)shows up to 80% DOC removal after 28 days.

(CAS 37330 -39 -5) shall be biodegradable
