Description of key information
ZnF2 dissolves upon contact with water, releasing zinc and fluoride ions. An equilibrium establishes between F- and HF as a function of pH, and the Hägg graph (see IUCLID 5.1.2 "Hägg, Graph - Fluoride") provides key information. For zinc, hydrolysis is not a relevant endpoint.
