A preliminary test indicated that the substance hydrolysed rapidly to the corresponding acid and was not detectable in aqueous solution after 15 to 20 minutes (limit of detection 2,1 mg/litre). The solubility of the acid was determined as 3800 mg/litre at 20°C by the flask method.
