Executive summary:

A study was conducted according to OECD TG 102, Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 method A.1 and guideline OPPTS 830.7200 in order to determine the freezing point of the test item. In the test the temperature of the phase transition from the liquid to the solid state was determined. As the test item was not frozen in the course of the preliminary test, the main test was not performed. Based on the preliminary test, the freezing point of the test item was determined to be below -29 °C.

Description of key information

As the test item was not frozen in the course of the preliminary test, the main test was not performed. Based on the preliminary test, the freezing point of the test item was determined to be below -29 °C.

Additional information

A study was conducted according to OECD TG 102, Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 method A.1 and guideline OPPTS 830.7200 in order to determine the freezing point of the test item. In the test the temperature of the phase transition from the liquid to the solid state was determined. As the test item was not frozen in the course of the preliminary test, the main test was not performed. According to Annex VII, point 7.2, column 2 of Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 the study does not need to be conducted below a lower limit of -20 °C. Based on the preliminary test, the freezing point of the test item was determined to be below -29 °C (reference 4.2 -1).
