Description of key information

The substance is abiotically degradable via hydrolysis and radical reaction mechanisms. There are no information on the phototransformation in water and soil available. In the screening study for biodegradation the substance showed moderate degradability under test conditions. Based on the available information on the partition coefficient the substance is considered to have no potential for bioaccumulation in aquatic species. Furthermore, no significant adsorption to soil is expected. Considering the low vapor pressure and high water solubility of the substance no significant volatility from surface water to the atmosphere is expected. Therefore, the photodegradation in air is not considered to be a relevant pathway.
