PERSISTENCE ASSESSMENT
The registration substance is readily biodegradable in an OECD 301B CO2 Evolution test (see IUCLID Chapter 5.2.1). Therefore the 'P' criteria for the PBT / vPvB Assessment is not fulfilled.
BIOACCUMULATION ASSESSMENT
The registration substance has a measured log Kow=4.1 (see IUCLID Chapter 4.7). Therefore the 'B' criteria for the PBT / vPvB Assessment is not fulfilled.
TOXICITY ASSESSMENT
In toxicity tests for the aquatic compartment on fish, daphnia and algae no hazard was identified up to the nominal limit concentration of 100mg/l (see IUCLID Chapter 6.1). Therefore the 'T' criteria of the PBT / vPvB Assessment is not fulfilled. In addition no human health hazard was identified.
