The vapour pressure study was conducted using an ebulliometer. Twelve measurements were made over a range of 4-101 kPa (30-760 Torr). All boiling points are the average of at least three readings at varied heat inputs to ensure that the temperature is not below the true boiling point and the sample is not superheated.

Additional information

A vapour pressure study using a sample of M4Q with stated purity >99% reported a vapour pressure of 15 Pa at 25°C. The study was conducted according to generally accepted scientific principles and is considered to be reliable. This value is supported by a predicted vapour pressure of 4.0 Pa at 25°C which was determined using a validated QSAR estimation method.

A second vapour pressure measurement of 27.6 hPa at 20°C was obtained for the substance in a study performed in accordance with OECD Test Guideline 104. The purity of the test material is significantly lower than that of the key study; the vapour pressure measurement obtained in this study is considered to be due to the impurities in the test substance.
