One experimental study according to the OECD guideline 301 B indicated that the substance (CAS 52585-16-7) is not readily biodegradable (49% biodegradation after 28 d). Based on a pre-test for water solubility more than 80% of the test item was still available and measurable after 12 days (with 31P-NMR and 1H-NMR Spectroscopy) due to that fact degradation via abiotic hydrolysis was not observed. No study had to be performed for adsorption/desorption due to a low octanol water partition coefficient (log Pow 1.1, calculation method based on measured water solubility of phosphorus based anaylsis and measured octanol solubility of neat active test item).
