Description of key information

combustible liquid
The substance has no pyrophoric properties and does not liberate flammable gases on contact with water.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Flammability:
non flammable

Additional information

liquid: Flammability derived from flash point. The Flash point is 74°C.

Based on chemical structure pyrophoric properties and flammability in contact with water are not to be expected.

Justification for classification or non-classification

There is no need for a classification according to EU legislation because the flash point is 74°C. But for classification accorting to GHS UN the substance is classified incombustible liquids, Catecory 4 (flammable liquids and vapour) of GHS-UN : flash point > 60°C and <= 93°C
