Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Biodegradation in water: screening test (ready biodegradability)

The ready biodegradability of the test substance was tested in two studies. The first study was performed in accordance to OECD guideline No. 301E, Modified OECD Screening Test (BASF AG, 1993). No biodegradation could be observed (0 %) within the course of the study period of 28 days. In the second study the biological oxygen demand within 5 days (BOD5) was determined for the test substance (BASF AG, 1987). A BOD5 of <1 % was estimated. Based on these data, the test substance is not considered to be readily biodegradable.

Biodegradation in water: screening test (inherent biodegradability)

The inherent biodegradability of the test substance was investigated in a study following OECD guideline No. 302B, Zahn-Wellens-Test (BASF AG, 1993). The test substance was degraded to 100 % based on DOC removal. Thus, it was considered to be inherently biodegradable.
