Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Due to the low solubility of the substance and also due to the fact that the substance is produced and supplied in the presence of a mineral oil solvent, to stabilise the molecular structure, it is difficult to adequately assess the environmental distribution of the substance.

The soil adsorption coefficient is considered to be 9.8215, based on EPIWIN estimations. This therefore suggests that the substance is likely to have a tendency to migragte to the organic portion of soils and sediments in the environment.

This tendency towards the soil compartment is, however, considered to be justification for the environment risk management measures of no release to the environment to ensure that no exposure to soil is possible.

The substance is considered to to have a low volatility measured from the vapour pressure of the substance. The substance is therefore not likely to enter the air compartment of the environment during normal use.
