Reference
Endpoint:
water solubility
Type of information:
experimental study
Adequacy of study:
key study
Study period:
From 17 July to 2 November, 2017
Reliability:
1 (reliable without restriction)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
test procedure in accordance with generally accepted scientific standards and described in sufficient detail
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 105 (Water Solubility)
Version / remarks:
adopted in 1995
GLP compliance:
yes (incl. QA statement)
Type of method:
flask method
Water solubility:
15.94 g/L
Conc. based on:
test mat.
Incubation duration:
24 - 72 h
Temp.:
20 °C
pH:
5.91 - 6.13
Remarks on result:
other: average
Details on results:
To verify the accuracy of the analytical method a fresh prepared standard solution (prepared with the test item) was measured in between the samples of the flask method.
The recovery rate of the measured standard solutions was in the range from 100.1 % to 100.9 %, which shows a good accuracy of the analytical method.

PRELIMINATY TEST
The preliminary test at room temperature showed, that the water solubility of the test item was between 1.02 g/l and 7.5 g/l.

Executive summary:

Water solubility test was tested, according to the OECD guideline 105; flask method was used. A preliminary test was carried out to determine the suitable method to be used in the main test. In the preliminary test the solubility of the test item was between 1.02 g/l and 7.5 g/l. Therefore, the flask method was used in the main test.

Conclusion

Water solubility: 15.94 g/l at 20 °C and pH 5.91-6.13
