Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

For the test substance, data from four acute toxicity endpoints with aquatic organisms from different trophic levels are available (fish, daphnia, algae, micororganism). The lowest effect concentration was seen in fish showing an EC50 (96 h) of 86 mg/L, which is distinctly above the water solubility/limit as determined in the water solubility test. In this assay solubilizer was applied to achieve maximum exposure exceeding the water solubility limit of the pure substance.

All other available data show no signs of toxicity up to the nominal concentration of 100 mg/L. In addition, data for the chronic toxicity endpoints for three aquatic species from three different trophic levels (algae, fish and daphnia) are available. Chronic exposure to fish showed also no effects on the test animals up the limit of the water solubility.
