Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Partition coefficient: log Kow > 6.5 at 20 °C

Classification according to CLP

The available experimental test data are reliable and suitable for classification purposes under Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008. The test substance was found to be not biodegradable under the test conditions. In all aquatic tests the test item showed no toxic effect on the tested species. The determined L(E)C50 values in the short-term toxicity tests with fish, Daphnia magna and green algae were determined to be >100 mg/L. The long-term NOEC to common carp fish was determined to be > 0.2 mg/L and thus clearly exceeded the limit of water solubility. The ErC10 value was determined to be > 100 mg/L for green algae. Based on these results, the substance is neither classified for short-term (acute) aquatic toxicity nor classified for long-term (chronic) aquatic toxicity according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (CLP), as amended for the twelfth time in Regulation (EU) 2019/521.
