Conclusion on classification

For the 3 trophic levels (fish, invertebrates (Daphnia) and algae), studies on the short-term toxicity are available. The L(E)C50 values observed are between 1 and 10 mg/L (expressed as solid content). The long-term toxicity has not been investigated.

The substance has been investigated for its ready biodegradability in an aerobic aqueous medium in accordance with OECD Guideline 301 D. From this study it is concluded that the substance is readily biodegradable.

The substance has a low potential for bioaccumulation with a log Kow = 2.6.

Conclusion:

The substance is not be classified as dangerous to the environment based on the Directive 67/548/EEC and the CLP Regulation 1272/2008.
