Several values are available from independent sources which are all in line. The LOGKOW databank lists a number of log Kow values measured according to shake-flask and generator column method. The values determined at 25 °C (seven entries) are in the range of 1.41 to 1.53. A value of 1.51 is recommended by Sangster. A log Kow of 1.44 at 20 °C is cited by Reaxys/Beilstein. Hansch et al. has calculated the log Kow with fragment method to be 1.34. The CRC Handbook gives a value of 1.51 for log Kow. The with SRC KOWWIN v1.68 estimated value is 1.33.
The recommended value of Sangster J. LOGKOW Databank was taken for CSA.
