Description of key information

Considering that the substance is highly insoluble in water, namely < 0.005 g/l at 20 °C, the aqueous environment is unlikely the principal compartment of concern.

One study was performed in the similar substance 1, according to EU method C.4 -D “Manometric Respirometry Test“(2008) and the OECD guiedeline 301 F (adopted July 1992)

The 28 -days degradation was 0 % for the test substance while for the positive control (with reference substance) the biodegradation was 88 %.

Therefore, the test substance is considered to be “Not Readily Biodegradable“.

A detailed description of the read across chosen is reported in section 13.
