JUSTIFICATION FOR DATA WAIVING

The following statement has been reported by an expert:

A test substance is considered explosive when it can react to produce very rapid increases in temperature or pressure.

The molecular structures of the main constituents in the test substance do not contain chemical groups which are associated with explosive properties. The purity of the test substance is to be regarded as 100%. The molecular structures of impurities were therefor not taken into account.

In conclusion, PEMP product has no explosive properties.

Additional information

Justification for classification or non-classification

Due to the lack of specific functional groups, classification for the explosive hazard is not required according to CLP Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008
