Interpretation of results:
other: Not irritating
Conclusions:
The test material 4,4'-DI(DIMETHYLBENZYL)DIPHENYLAMINE (CAS No: 10081-67-1) was considered to be not irritating to the eyes of albino rabbits.
Executive summary:

An eye irritation study of 4,4'-DI(DIMETHYLBENZYL)DIPHENYLAMINE (CAS No: 10081-67-1) was conducted on six albino rabbits to observe its irritation efficacy.

In this study, 3 mg of the test chemical was applied to the right eye of each of six albino rabbits. The left eye was untreated and served as a control. Each rabbit was examined for eye irritative effects and for gross signs of systemic toxicity at intervals of 24, 48 and 72 hours after application.

It was observed that, all rabbits had normal appearance throughout the study and there was no evidence of systemic toxicity from mucous membrane absorption. No gross signs of eye irritation were observed at any observation interval following application of chemical to the eyes of albino rabbits.

Since no signs of irritation were observed at any observation point, the chemical4,4'-DI(DIMETHYLBENZYL)DIPHENYLAMINE (CAS No: 10081-67-1)was considered to be not irritating to the eyes ofalbinorabbits.
