Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The vapor pressure of HFP kinetic dimer is 34.7 kPa at 20 °C (ASTM E 1719-97).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

In the key study the vapor pressure of HFP kinetic dimer was extrapolated using the dynamic method. The key study was conducted following method ASTM E 1719-97. The dynamic method is approved for this endpoint per OECD TG 104. In a supporting study, a vapor pressure of 33.8 kPa at 20 °C was determined using a method similar to ASTM E 1719-97. The key and supporting studies were not GLP compliant and were classified as acceptable with restrictions. A value for vapor pressure was found in a summary document on substance properties. However, due to few details available, it cannot be classified as to its reliability. The key study is the preferred value due to being in accordance with a guideline and having more details available than the supporting study.
