Additional information

The density of the C20-24 sodium sulfonate (Benzenesulfonic acid, mono-C20-24 (even)-sec-alkyl derivs., para-, sodium salts) was determined according to a procedure compatible with EU Method A.3 and OECD Guideline 109 in compliance with GLP (Fox, 2015c). Due to the test item's viscosity, it was considered that the pycnometer method for liquids would be impractical. Using a gas comparison pycnometer, the density of the test item has been determined to be 959 kg/m³ at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C and a relative density of 0.959.
