Description of key information

The adsorption coefficient (Koc) of the test item on soil and on sewage sludge was determined in a GLP study with the HPLC method according to OECD TG 121 (2001) and EC method C. 19 (2008). The result was log Koc = 3.4 for both soil and sewage sludge. This is "high" adsorption potential (Koc between 1000 and 10000) on the Blume scale. It is however important to mention that this geoaccumulation of the test substance will be inhibited by hydrolysis under environmental conditions.
