The two determinations were within the validity criteria (repeatability < 0.5%), therefore no additional measurement was performed.

Deviation: The following deviation from the study plan was documented: the test item was stored in a fridge at 2-8 °C, instead of the recommended 11-25°C range. This is uncritical the sponsor confirmed that storage at this lower temperature for the present study will have no impact.

The test substance is less dense than water.
Executive summary:

The density of the test substance was measured under GLP according OECD 109 / EU A3 guideline, pycnometer method. Experiment was performed at 20 °C in duplicate, and the mean density was calculated. The relative density was calculated vs water at 4°C.

The density of the test substance has been determined to be 0.9015 ± 0.0004 g/cm3 at 20.0 ± 0.2 °C.

The relative density (D20/4) is 0.9015.
