Justification for classification or non-classification

As observed from these results the substance does not shows signs of toxicity from two of the three trophic levels. The values from toxicity to fish and daphnia are above the trigger values for classification according to the CLP Regulation (EC n. 1272/2008). The toxicity value for Lemna Gibba are:

NOEC (7d) = 0.0305

EC50 (7d) > 2.0 mg/l

The value is below the limit for avoiding the classification (1 mg/l < Category Chronic 2 ≤ 10 mg/l.

Based on values reported above the classification as Aquatic Category Chronic 2 (H411: Toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects) is proposed according to the CLP Regulation (EC n. 1272/2008).
