Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

A terrestrial study on earthworms with the test substance has been conducted according to OECD test guideline 222. In this test, different concentrations of the test substance between 15.6 mg/kg sdw and 500 mg/kg sdw has been tested. No evident earthworm mortality and no pathological symptoms or changes in the behaviour of adult earthworms have been observed after four weeks of exposure in all test substance groups. The NOEC for mortality has been >= 500 mg/kg sdw.

Since the solvent control was statistically significant different (body weight and offspring number) compared to the control, the solvent control was used for evaluation of the parameters. No statistically significant differences in earthworm body weights in all test substance concentrations have been observed compared to the solvent control. After eight weeks, a mean number of 125 juveniles were found in the solvent control and the mean number of juveniles in the test substance concentrations ranged from 90 to 142. There were no statistically significant differences in earthworm reproduction in the treatment rates 15.6 and 31.3 mg/kg sdw compared to the solvent control. However, at the test item concentrations 62.5 to 500 mg/kg sdw the earthworm reproduction was statistically significantly reduced. The EC10/20-values for reproduction were determined to be 83.8 and 231 mg test substance/ kg soil dry weight, respectively.
