Description of key information

An experimental determination of the surface tension had not to be conducted as the water solubility of the test item at 20 °C is below 1 mg/L. This is in accordance with thethe OECD 115 (1995) and with the annex VII of the REACH regulation (EC) No 1907/2006.

In accordance with the OECD Guideline for the testing of chemicals OECD 115 (1995) and with the annex VII of the information requirements for substances, column 2, chapter 7.6,of the REACH regulation(EC) No 1907/2006, the study of the surface tension does not need to be conducted if the water solubility of a substance is below 1 mg/L at 20 °C.

The water solubility of the test item was determined to cs< 1 mg/L.

Hence, an experimental determination of thesurface tension had not to be conducted as the water solubility of the test item at 20 °C is below 1 mg/L.
