Conclusions:
The log Kow of FAT 40854/A at pH 7 and 20 °C is <-1.8 (Kow <1.4 E -2).
Executive summary:

In a GLP-compliant study the partition coefficient of FAT 40854/A was determined according to EU method A.8 and OECD guideline 107, using shake flask method. In preliminary test, the content of test substance dissolved in the n-octanol sample was below the response of the lowest calibration solution. According to this the n-octanol solubility of the test substance was <5.73 mg/l. The information was sufficient for the performance of the shake flask method. Based on the main test, the Pow value of the test substance at neutral pH and 20 °C was <1.4 x 10 -2. It corresponds with a log Pow value of <-1.8.
