Two OECD guideline studies (GLP) are available, which assessed the aquatic toxicity of the substance on two different trophic levels. Aquatic algae turned out to be the most sensitive species with an ErC50 (72 h) of 69.2 mg/L and a corresponding NOErC (72 h) of 50 mg/L based on the inhibition of growth. The EC50 (48 h) for aquatic invertebrates was > 100 mg/L. Both effect concentrations are based on nominal concentrations since the measured concentrations were within ± 20% of the nominal concentrations.
