Additional information

On the basis of prediction using Danish QSAR modelling database (2016), Melting point of test substance Basic blue 99 was estimated to be 317.7 °C.

In a study conducted by American College of Toxicology (2007), Melting point of test substance Basic blue 99 was 300-320 deg C with decomposition temperature of > 200 °C.

In a opinion given by Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety for Basic blue 99 (2011), a study report by COLIPA mentioned that the Basic Brown 16 decomposed at > 200 deg C

Based on the above available value, Melting point of test substance Basic blue 99 (CAS no 68123 -13 -7) was in the range 300-320 °C with decomposition temperature of > 200 °C.
