coefficient Koc in soil and in sewage sludge N,N-diethylaniline (CAS No.
91-66-7) was determined by the Reverse Phase High Performance Liquid
Chromatographic method according to OECD Guideline No. 121 for testing
of Chemicals. The reference substances were chosen according to
structural similarity with the test substance and calibration graph was
prepared. The Log Koc value was found to be 3.594 ± 0.003at 25°C
Thus overall all results indicate that the
test substance 3-(1H-benzimidazol-2-yl)-7-(diethylamino)-2-benzopyrone
(Cas no. 27425-55-4) have tendency strong sorption to soil and sediment
and therefore have negligible migration potential to groundwater.
