Applicant's summary and conclusion

Validity criteria fulfilled:
not specified
Conclusions:
The TLm (LC 50) value for the short term toxicity to fish was found to be greater than 3000mg/kg.
Executive summary:

Short term toxicity test was performed on Himegaka(Oryzias latipes)was used and acclimated for 10 days in tap water before experiment. In lab, 1 L solution of pH 7 containing 3,000 mg/litre of a Ponceau SX to be tested. 10 tested fish were kept in the tank without direct sunlight for 48 hrs and survival rate was determined.

From the experiment, TLm (LC 50) value for the short term toxicity to fish was found to be greater than 3000mg/kg.
