Additional information

According to REACH Regulation (Annex VIII, 9.3.1, column 2), the study on adsorption/desorption does not need to be done if based on physico-chemical properties (e.g. low n-octanol/water partition coefficient log Pow) a low soil sorption is to be expected. L-Threonine has a log Pow < 3, therefore testing is not necessary.
