Description of key information

The LC50 of FAT 40554  in this fish acute toxicity test was determined to be greater than 0.50 mg/l after 96 hours exposure time.

Additional information

A study was performed to determine the acute fish toxicity to FAT 40554 to Rainbow trout according to the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals (1984) no. 203 "Fish Acute Toxicity Test" referenced as Method C.1 of Commission Directive 84/449/EEC (which constitutes Annex V of Council Directive 67/548/EEC).

Fish were tested at these different follwing concentrations: 0.1, 0.5, and 1.0 mg/l.

The LC50 of FAT 40554 in this fish acute toxicity test was determined to be greater than 0.50 mg/l after 96 hours exposure time.
