According to column 2 of Annex VII REACH-regulation study does not need to be conduducted because graphite is an inorganic substance not containing oxygen or halogen atoms.

Waiving is applicable to Expanded Graphite Powder as well as to Synthetic Graphite, because the impurities of both materials have no relevant influence on that endpoint.
