As the water solubility of test item is less than 1% w/v so a suspension was resulted.

After stirring the solid particles were allowed to settle for 5 minutes. The pH was measured from the supernatant of the suspension.

Conclusions:
The measured pH of 10 g/L Trimethylsulfoxonium Iodide (CAS No. 1774-47-6) suspension was 10.10 at 24.6 °C.
