Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The available information for adsorption/desorption (log Koc) and partitioning behavior (log Kow) indicates that the substance will partition primarily to solid organic phases. The low vapour pressure indicates negligible partitioning to air.

Distribution modelling indicates the following behaviour:

·        When emitted to the aquatic environment, the substance would partition primarily to the sediment compartment (97.5%) with the remaining fraction partitioning primarily to suspended sediment in the water compartment.

·        When emitted to soil, the substance would remain almost entirely in the soil comparment (99.5%) with small amounts partitioning to water (0.011%) and sediment (0.44%).

Given the low vapour pressure of the substance and low likelihood that it would form mists, emission to air was not considered a relevant scenario
