Description of key information
Taking into account the large mammalian available dataset, Tartaric acid and its salts have been assessed as (i) non-acutely toxic, (ii) non-chronically toxic and (iii) non-bioaccumulable.
Because of that, long-term or reproductive toxicity tests to birds shall not be proposed by the registrant in order to investigate further effects of the category.
The registrant is not proposing to present data for this endpoint.
