Additional information

Hydrolysis

The hydrolysis of the test substance was tested according to OECD guideline 111. A pre-test was conducted demonstrating that the substance is stable at pH 4 and 50°C. The main test was conducted at 25°C, at pH 7 and pH 9. DT50 values were 110 h and 38 h, at pH 7 and 9, respectively.

Biodegradation

The substance was found to be inherently biodegradable in an OECD 301F test (42% biodegradation by activated sludge after 28 days ). In addition, the biotic degradation products were identified and quantified via the QSAR CATALOGIC 301C Model v.11.15.

No further testing on biodegradation in water, sediment and soils is considered necessary.

Adsorption/desorption

Under the test conditions, the chromatogram of the test substance resulted in four peaks with log Koc values of 1.422 ± 0.001 (peak 1: 0.690 mAU*min), 1.812 ± 0.003 (peak 2: 0.268 mAU*min), 2.605 ± 0.001 (peak 3: 7.750 mAU*min) and 3.550 ± 0.002 (peak 4: 20.058 mAU*min) at 25 ± 1 ºC.

Henry's law constant

The Henry's constant of the substance is estimated at less than 0.00000512 Pa m³/mol.

Bioaccumulation

No bioaccumulation was observed in fish in a test performed according to the OECD 305 testing guideline.
