Additional information

Two Daphnia study for Betaines, C12-14 (even numbered)-alkyldimethyl, EC No. 931-700-2 are available. Both studies are conducted according to OECD 202. Garcia (2008) revealed EC50 values between 5.3 (C12-Betaine) and 48 mg/L (C10-Betaine), depending on the chain lengh. The test was conducted with 100 % active substance. The EC50 value of the study from Vandendaele (2010) is in the same range providing an EC50 of 7.76 mg/L.
