Additional information

The study by Shell Research Ltd. (1997) was conducted to a standard guideline and was GLP compliant. Therefore this study was selected as the key study. The boiling point of 2,4,4-trimethylpentene was found to be 102°C at 102.4kPa. This result is supported by data from the CRC Handbook (Lide 2008), which gives a boiling point of 101.4°C.
