Additional information

From a fugacity model (McKay Level III) based on key physical and chemical property parameters, it can be concluded that the ultimate compartment is the aquatic compartment. PnB is readily biodegradable and has no potential for bioaccumulation. Direct and indirect exposure to the soil compartment is unlikely. Secondary poisoning is therefore not considered as relevant route of exposure for consumers and workers.

Conclusion on classification

According to Chapter 4 VI of Directive 67/548/EEC, no classification is required, as all EC50>100mg/L.
